Key Waiver

Moving to a new home can be one of the most exciting events in life and by choosing Careful Movers; you can be assured that we will make every effort to ensure that everything will go the way you planned.

However, there can be occasions where events are out of our control. One of these is not being able to gain access to your new home at the agreed completion time. There may be a delay in the vendor moving out of the property or there may be a delay in the transfer of money within the removal chain - such events can prove costly to the person being moved.

However, Careful Movers are pleased to offer you a Late Key Waiver that will provide you with peace of mind if there is a delay in accessing your new property.

Benefits of the Late Key Waiver:

• A waiting time is included from 14.00 to 16.30.
• At 16:30 there will be a charge of £65 per hour inclusive of VAT if access to the property is still delayed;
• This charge is payable by cash or cheque.
• Our crews will be on site to complete the removal until their allotted working hours under the Working Time Directive have expired.

If you do not purchase the Waiver:

• A 1 hour waiting time is included from 13:00.
• Once the 1 hour waiting time has expired there will be a charge of £65 per hour inclusive of VAT ;
• This charge is payable by cash or cheque.
• Our crews will be on site to complete the removal until their allotted working hours under the Working Time Directive have expired.

Please Note: If the removal cannot be completed within the allocated day, a delayed access charge will be applied to complete the removal at a mutually agreed date and time.

Postponement Waiver

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that you may have to postpone your removal after it has been confirmed, making you liable for a cancellation fee, Careful Movers’ Postponement Waiver allows you complete flexibility and ensures that you would not incur any additional charges if your removal plans change at the last minute.

This service is designed to save you money and give you peace of mind if the unexpected happens during the lead up to your move.
